What a thought!!! To think that God would want to come and spend time with us. That He would want to be with us, is truly mind blowing!
Emmanuel – Another name given to Jesus. One that we could have definitely covered as we went through our series, “The Prince of Peace” as we explored the names given to Jesus by His Father in Heaven. Jesus was truly one with God – taking on human flesh to bring reconciliation between God and us.
Jesus was the only way that would bring us back into relationship with God. God came as a baby, then He grew to be a man – He walked, He talked and had fellowship with people in the person of Jesus – Emmanuel – God with us. And today we as God’s children can enjoy the presence of God and fellowship with Him through our faith in Jesus Christ. God is with us today So let us celebrate!!!!!
